What does an Unattended Retail Driver do at Swire Coca-Cola?
This is a dynamic role that gives you the opportunity to be involved in several different aspects of our business by delivering great-tasting products to our local customers. You are responsible for replenishment of unattended retail points of sale, rotating products and driving sales volume.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maneuver commercial delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations and follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries while adapting to various traffic and weather conditions
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of yourself, other road users, and the cargo.
• Load and unload beverage products utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage or breakage
• Pick up and return pallets, shells and assigned product at each delivery location
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Utilize electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with logistics team to ensure accurate inventory counts to resolve any discrepancies and communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers to provide updates on delivery progress, delays, or issues
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, both internally and externally
• Interact professionally with store personnel and establish positive relationships with store managers and staff
• Maintain valid CDL-A license
• Complete all assigned training
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
• Perform others duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid Class A CDL license and must be able to drive standard transmissions
• Must have or be able to obtain a DOT medical card
• High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
• Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirements
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
