Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU. This role will primarily focus on overseeing operations at our vibrant pool bar, while also providing essential support to our main restaurant, lobby bar, and coffee shop as required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in food and beverage management.

Responsibilities
    Supervise the daily operations of the pool bar, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide support to other food and beverage outlets within the hotel, including the main restaurant, lobby bar, and coffee shop.
  • Train and manage food and beverage staff, ensuring compliance with hotel standards and health regulations.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and quality of food and drinks.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues to maintain a positive dining experience.
  • Implement promotional events and activities to enhance guest engagement and revenue.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all food and beverage service areas.
  • Prepare reports on staff performance, customer feedback, and sales targets for hotel management.
  • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations within the food and beverage department.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
  • Certification in food safety and handling is preferred.

*This position is a full-time, on-site position with no work from home flexibility.
