JobSummary:

Delegate duties and assures work performance for exactness, neatness, and conformance to all policies and procedures. Monitors all equipment and ensure that needed repairs are scheduled, delegated, and completed by the PM Technicians.

Required Education/Experience:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or Five (5) years equivalent experience in manufacturing facility.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Provides moderate strategic and moderate tactical input.
  • Provides advanced engineering and/or quality-oriented skills.
  • Able to work in extreme heat or cold conditions.
  • Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
  • Very good technical communication skills and general communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear and precise procedures and other process documents.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Schedule contractors as needed to complete action items
  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Makes studies, prepares reports, and develops programs necessary for improvement of operations in the Maintenance Department.
  • Responsible for contributing to product and process integrity/reliability.
  • Moderate project management skills.
  • Review all equipment data and prioritize/delegate work needing to be completed to achieve 95% machine uptime.
  • Assign work orders to individuals for both planned and interruptible work.
  • Gather required materials to a "kit" to improve wrench time
