Job Description:

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Recruiter to join our Human Resources Department based in Mobile, AL.

The responsibilities for this position holder will be to lead employment marketing initiatives and recruitment for a dedicated portfolio of job functions for both internal and external positions, supporting business needs for the Airbus US Final Assembly Line.

Your working environment:

Nearby on 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus' strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

Your Challenges:
  • Provide recruitment expertise for any specific recruitment project

  • Collaborate with HRBP's and hiring managers to confirm job requirements, competencies, selection criteria, salary budget, interview teams and creation of search strategy

  • Design, drive and implement comprehensive and innovative recruiting strategies to build a solid pipeline of qualified candidates in a timely manner

  • Support the Sourcing Specialists to build a pipeline of candidates for future openings through a variety of staffing approaches to include LinkedIn professional networking, employee and candidate referral, as well as managing company and generic career website databases

  • Conduct phone screens and preliminary interviews of candidates that meet minimum requirements for positions and refer acceptable candidates for the next level of interview

  • Deliver high quality short lists

  • Provide exceptional customer service to designated client groups

communicating consistently with business leaders, HR Manager, Agency Partners and Candidates

  • Participate in employment marketing and recruitment events in close coordination with trans-national teams

  • Cooperate with other national and trans-national EM/Recruiting Specialists and domestic and global sourcing teams

  • Negotiate offer terms when required

  • Maintain accurate recruitment metrics for trans-divisional reporting

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ years professional recruiting experience at various professional levels

  • Demonstrated ability to develop solid relationships and engage & align with agency partners, client groups and candidates

  • Demonstrable ability to deliver and achieve results in a fast paced, dynamic and changing environment

  • Proven organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work in an environment with competing demands

  • Knowledge of EEO and employment laws

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others

  • Proficiency with MS Office, Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems

  • Up to 15% domestic and/or international travel may be required per year.

This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
