POSITION SUMMARY

As a Proactive Proposal Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our business development efforts by translating our technical expertise into compelling proposals that captivate potential customers with impactful visuals in PowerPoint. Your strong communication skills, superior graphic design abilities, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with various teams will be essential in this role.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

*Collaborate with sales, engineering, site, and sector teams to gather the necessary information for creating proposal content.
*Collaborate with subject matter experts to create technical documentation and solution descriptions for proposals.
*Conduct research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings to incorporate relevant information into proposals.
*Customize proposal content to align with the specific needs and objectives of each customer.
*Develop, edit, and proofread proposal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with company guidelines and customer requirements.
*Transform complex technical concepts into visually stunning proposal layouts and presentations, incorporating graphics, charts, and images leveraging your graphic design skills to captivate and inspire.
*Coordinate proposal timelines, tasks, and deliverables to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.
*Maintain a comprehensive database of proposal content, case studies, and other relevant materials for future use.
*Review and analyze RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFIs (Requests for Information) to determine proposal requirements and scope.
*Participate in strategy meetings to contribute ideas and insights for enhancing proposal content and presentation.
*Assist in managing the proposal review process, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and making necessary revisions.
*Coordinate proposal-related meetings, prepare presentation materials, and contribute to customer-facing discussions when required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education / Experience

*Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
*Previous experience in proposal coordination, technical writing, or business development in the electronics manufacturing industry is preferred.

Skills

*Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear and concise proposal content.
*Exceptional professional PowerPoint presentation design experience (PowerPoint certification not required, but helpful).
*Understand the latest PowerPoint trends and designs and can add visuals, charts, and graphics to create presentations that capture the audience's attention.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
*Familiarity with proposal management software and graphic design tools.
*Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in proposal content.
*Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
*Demonstrated strong graphic design skills to enhance proposal layouts and presentations.

Abilities

*Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds 5% or less of the workday.
*Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday.
*Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, and reason.
*Must be able to sit for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
*Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday

Education:

*Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Schedule: M-F 0800-1700
