Dorman Products, a nearly $2B global supplier of aftermarket motor vehicle parts with 3,500+ Contributors and 28 sites across the globe, is seeking an Intern to join our Sales team for the summer of 2024.For 10 to 12 weeksas aNational Account Intern, you will manage front room (planogram) and back room (flexogram) line reviews, and work collaboratively with Category Management & Business Insights to optimize new product as well as monthly GAP / Hero SKU placement.Performance will be monitored to assure learning and development is happening and you will beexpected to present project details to our leadership team at the conclusion of the internship.If you are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, apply today!

Primary Duties:

  • Assist Sales & CategoryManager with execution of front and back room line reviews including:
    • Building POGs, creating internal/external PPTs, presenting to the customer, and follow up activities post close
  • Assist in building monthly Gap recommendations at SKU level with guidance from BI
  • Optimize sales by assisting in introducing new products and creating initial stocking suggestions for new items via collaboration with BI
  • Facilitate monthly communication with customers on Hero SKU's to achieve business goals
  • Organize and analyze performance metrics with BI terminating in quarterly KPI reports
  • Assist in developing external quarterly KPI summaries and presentations for AutoZone including
    • Reporting around "non-Hero" SKU gap opportunities to drive improved execution on "New" products
  • Facilitate weekly Internal and External account meetings
    • Manage task tracker and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education or Experience:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, automotive technology, or a related field preferred
