A Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer job is available with our client in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and a minimum of 8+ years of job-related experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US Citizenship is required.

Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer Job Duties:
*Performs design of networks, with working knowledge of networking protocols.
*Performs detailed technical analyses for a software subsystem or system elements.
*Researches and analyzes data, such as vendor products, COTS components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
*Performs requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, and system design and definition.
*Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
*Bachelor"s Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and a minimum of 8+ years of job-related experience.
*Demonstrated Satellite communications knowledge.
*Satellite constellation contact planning experience.
*Ground operations experience.
*Experience in Software functional analysis and interface definitions, including Application Programing Interface experience.
*Able to facilitate discussions with senior levels of Customer Stakeholders.
