Job Description

As an Inside Sales -Counter Sales Representative at Crescent Electric, you will be responsible for assisting customers in person and over the phone, entering orders in system, reviewing and pulling orders, and ensuring customers' needs are met in a professional and timely fashion.

You will know you're a match to this position if you are organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and can multitask. Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately within time constraints and against deadlines.Forklift experience is a plus. Previous wholesale electrical distribution product and application knowledge and sales experience preferred.

Primary Duties:

  • Greet customers courteously and quickly.
  • Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Help customers determine and select the best solution of Crescent Electric products and services to meet their needs.
  • Work with Purchasing Department, account managers, quotations specialists, product champions, and other branch personnel to provide competitive quotations.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of Crescent product inventory, its location in the facility, and sales techniques.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
