Current Need:


Reporting to Vice President, Intrafusion Business Development, the Intrafusion Business Development Associate is responsible for identification, engagement and effective selling of Infusion Management Services, which include drug distribution and inventory management, full revenue cycle management, clinical operations, financial management, and consulting services to physician clinics in their assigned territory. Their responsibilities will include the execution of sales strategy that will meet new business targets and management of sales within individual specialty practices.

Success in this role will require new business skillsets, basic knowledge of infusion practices, practice management, and the infusion market. This includes but is not limited to, a network of provider practices, and potential conversion of existing Infusion business within their respective territory. Ideal candidates will have a basic working knowledge of the infusion market within their geography, clinical and business perspective, knowledge on the evolving specialty drug market, and payer and reimbursement dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales assistance to primary BDE and business development of infusion management new business deals

  • Assist BDE with pipeline management. Create, grow, and manage short-term pipeline by actively cold calling, setting meetings, and generating new business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers.

  • Provides support in strategic sales initiatives. Flex campaigns and targeted initiatives will be supported by BDA involvement.

  • Build expertise and understanding of physician practices, health systems, infusion management operational and payor challenges.

  • Build an extensive network of industry contacts and prospects.

  • Once a contract is signed, acts as a lead representative helping to coordinate activities with the account managers and other teams to effectively onboard and implement the infusion management offering at new sites, as needed.

  • Navigate the broader McKesson organization and build close relationships with PSaS business development and account management teams responsible for sales to health system and provider customers, to ensure Intrafusion engagement in applicable opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of experience within the infusion market, either from a clinical, business, and/or sales perspective. Infusion market experience is required.

Critical Skills:

  • Business development experience, preferably within the infusion market; specialty and infusion management market experience a plus.

  • Exceptional understanding of the effective use of MS Office and Salesforce

  • Basic to Intermediate Infusion knowledge and specialty clinic experience

  • Prior work exposure within infusion or specialty sales

  • Consultative selling ability

  • Documented sales performance in a Business Development role (regardless of field)

  • Experience in new territory expansions, product launch and driving business in new accounts

  • Territory management skills to cover a large geographic region and multiple potential opportunities

  • Previous experience contracting for multiple year agreements

  • Ability to understand customer needs even when the customer is ambiguous or unable to clearly articulate their needs

  • Engaging and confident presentation style focused on the customer and their needs

  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software

  • A desire to learn and grow in the sales field

  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, including working with cross-functional teams while managing multiple prospects with conflicting priorities and market-imposed deadlines

  • Creative and forward thinking with strong financial acumen

  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Advanced degree is a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Home office plus frequent travel (Up to 70% of the time)

  • General Office Demands

  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time

  • Significant amount of time performing computer-based work is required

  • Frequent air and automobile travel required

  • Walking and standing may be frequent

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:

$132,300 - $220,500

Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
