Our Finance headquarters are located in Winnipeg, Canada where the accounting function is performed centrally for our facilities in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. Generating over $3.0 billion in sales, the successful candidate will be exposed to accounting and operations on a global scale and build the unique knowledge and expertise of one of the world's largest independent maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) providers.

The Director, Cash Management will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of directing cash, ensuring adequate liquidity, managing banking relationships and coordinating the global payment process.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee cash management, including forecasting, planning & disbursements and banking relationships
  • Lead team of Treasury professionals, Accounts Payable, Cash Applications and Credit Card Administrators
  • Project liquidity, monitor daily cash positions, cash transfers, debt draws
  • Co-ordinate global payments utilizing multiple internal & web-based platforms, ensure adequate intercompany funding
  • Standardize & streamline all relevant components of payments including bank account reconciliations & bank fee analysis
  • Research best practices & implement banking projects
  • Champion continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Support annual external audit

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field accompanied with professional designation
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in cash management & banking, strong technical knowledge of payment systems
  • 5+ years of financial leadership at the management level
  • Proven track record of integrating systems, people and business practices in large, complex organizations
  • Thorough understanding of control/risk principles as they relate to cash management operations
