Job Title: SOM_VP, Enterprise Workplace Operations

Work Location: Irving, TX

Current Need:

We are seeking an Executive of Digital Workplace Operations to join our Digital Workplace Services team. This individual will be responsible for leading the strategy, engineering, operations, and support of our employee's technology experience. This includes managing the full lifecycle of end-user computing solutions, such as hardware and configuration management, as well as leading our front-line technology support services for all employees, including enhanced support for our executive team.

The leader will ensure exceptional service delivery, as measured by objective KPIs, while effectively balancing the value, cost, and quality of the services they oversee.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development for Digital Workplace
  • Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive employee enablement strategy for equipping employees and facilities with the devices, access, and support necessary to thrive in a hybrid work environment.

End User Computing
  • Oversee engineering, operations, and asset management of end user computing devices, management platforms, and connectivity to provide a reliable and secure end user experience for all employees.
Enterprise IT Support and Service Desk
  • Oversee the IT support services provided to all [current employee count] McKesson employees with a customer service mindset, ensuring timely and effective resolution of end user issues and requests across all digital workplace services.
  • Manage the relationship and performance of managed service providers for delivery of the service ensuring continuous improvement of value, cost, and quality of the IT support service.

Service Leadership
  • Lead and manage a team of service owners, fostering a culture of customer service, collaboration, innovation, and excellence aligned to McKesson's ICARE and ILEAD values.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to ensure professional development and growth.

Change Management and Adoption
  • Lead change management efforts to drive the adoption of new technologies and practices within the workplace, including training programs and communication plans to support transition and adoption.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of learning and development programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a digital-first workplace.

Performance Analytics and Performance
  • Utilize analytics to measure the effectiveness of employee enablement strategies, making data-driven decisions to continuously improve employee productivity and satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

15+ years of professional experience and 10+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

  • Extensive experience in a leadership role focused on employee enablement, digital workplace solutions, or organizational development.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful employee enablement programs in a large, complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging digital workplace technologies and trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, or a related field.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$190,600 - $317,600
