Your daily responsibilities as an FP&A Consultant will generally include:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and analysis
- Provide insight into key financial drivers, trends, and potential areas for improvement
- Lead the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Collaborate with clients to analyze variances, identify opportunities, and recommend corrective actions
- Understand client business objectives and align financial strategies accordingly
- Contribute to the development of strategic financial plans that align with client goals and objectives
- Provide insights to drive business performance
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports and presentations to clients
- Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in FP&A process
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial analysis
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus
- Experience in FP&A roles or management consulting with a focus on financial analysis, and at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using tools like Excel and financial planning software
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
