The Warehouse Slotting Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing team that specializes in the design, analytics and modeling of product slotting to support improved space utilization, storage media selection, and pick path productivity within the Distribution Center (DC) Network. The scope of responsibility will include both supporting greenfield designs and optimizing existing DCs. The role will also support major corporate initiatives.Key Responsibilities:*Manage a team of slotting analysts.Use analytical experience and slotting expertise to define business strategy and present fact-based recommendations to senior Corporate and Field leadership.*Aid in the planning and documentation of both functional and technical business requirements needed to create improved and sustainable slotting processes for the McKesson DC Network.*Assist Corporate Operations with DC sizing and design exercises*Support planning and execution of DC slotting processes*Develop models and analyses using Excel, Access, Python and SQL*Present recommendations to leadership using data visualizations, charts and graphs.*Build models to support what-if scenarios using linear and non-linear programming methods*Discover slotting improvement opportunities including ABC Analysis, cubic movement, storage type, consolidation, SKU affinity, and warehouse zoning/sequencing.*Independently assess key areas of DC operations that need slotting support.Minimum Requirements3+ years experience in warehouse slotting5+ years experience in data analytics or warehouse/supply chain operations2+ years experience with Statistical Modeling2+ years experience with SQL Query writingCritical Skills*Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel- Pivots, VLookups, Sum/Ifs) *Strong technical and analytical skills*JD Edwards Enterprise One Software experience*Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdditional Knowledge & SkillsGeneral working knowledge of data visualization programs such as Tableau or Power BIEducationBA or BS degree or equivalent experience.Physical RequirementsGeneral Office DemandsTravel RequirementsUp to 20% travel to DC locations for training and project planning & support.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$85,700 - $142,800
