Job Summary:

As a Master Planner/Principal Scheduler, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques. You will develop and maintains metrics for program execution and EVM compliance. You will manage the schedule and performance of multiple Programs in support of Business Unit (BU) through developing program plans to optimize performance and ensure programs meet internal and contractual requirements.

You will be a part of a world-class Supply Chain Team for our USMO (United States Manufacturing Operation), a leading provider of dense, rugged, secure microelectronics solutions for next generation defense applications. You will be a part of our various Business Unit where we design, develop, and produce the next generation RF/Microwave and mixed signal components, IMA's, modules and subsystems. We are an agile team focused on delivering innovative, high-quality products to our customers on time and on budget

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure plan and schedule alignment with MPS
  • Manage production plan, work order priorities, short-and long-term capacity plans, and reporting
  • Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided to maintain production. Proactively mitigates issues with production constraints. Create and release production orders as per plan.
  • Collaborates with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Quality, Program Management and Engineering to review execution of production schedules, build plans, backorder status, and other potential schedule interruptions or rescheduling.
  • Report production status for program specific milestones
  • Ensure MRP integrity is maintained
  • Ensure quarterly revenue plan is achieved and managed
  • Implement planning strategies to mitigate plan and schedule challenges
  • Recommend and execute cost savings and efficiency improvements by identifying opportunities in material usage variance and yield.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain tools to manage key metrics, review variances, and understand drivers and impact of changes. Utilize tools to assess risk.
  • Lead project teams on continuous improvement projects. Monitor progress and collaborate with other departments.
  • Providing timely guidance into priority decisions concerning resources across competing priorities based upon program critical path and resource constraints.

  • Demonstrate a strategic approach to schedule development, administration, change management, and dispute resolution as a key contributor to program management team
  • Process engineering change orders and provide impact to schedule to MPS

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 4+ years in Program Planning / Master Planning experience
  • Experience planning in Engineer to Order or R&D product environment
  • Strong Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • Advanced MS Excel Functions experience
  • Experience in production and capacity planning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree
  • Professional Certification - ASCM (APICS)
  • Aerospace & Defense Industry experience
  • Proficiency using MS Project (Server) to manage technical program schedules
  • Experience in Oracle/SAP ERP
  • Experience running schedule risk analysis
  • Experience developing program plans/schedules to include commercial items sold to the Department of Defense
  • Well versed in Rolling Wave Planning
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, ITAR, and Export Regulations
  • Expertise in USG, International, and Commercial schedule management
  • Experience in schedule development on all contract types; FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPAR, T&M, IDIQ, and BOA
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to lead teams in schedule development
  • Active Secret Clearance
