Job Summary

Uses the Student Information System (SIS) Curriculum Management component to schedule and maintain class schedules. Uses the Academic Curriculum Review and Evaluation System (ACRES) to prepare curriculum proposal form submissions. Uses the Guided Pathway Administration Suite platform to stage sequence pathways for web production. Uses the 25Live Academic and Event Scheduling System to confirm classroom availability for instructional events. Uses various reporting systems to review data- entry for accuracy. Assists with academic catalog production. Works individually and in a team environment. Interacts with college faculty and staff, sharing college curriculum and scheduling offices, and district curriculum office.

Essential Functions

60% - Uses the Student Information System (SIS) Curriculum Management component to perform all aspects of college-wide class schedule support services, including but not limited to: schedule of classes, roll curriculum data forward, add/update combined sections and enrollment requirement groups, synchronize dynamic date ranges, and add/update instructor teaching assignments. Adheres to MCCCD class scheduling policies and college practices. Reviews and processes class schedule draft submissions, change of master schedule (CMS) form requests, instructor assignment form requests, and/or other requests for class scheduling support or general information. Works with department class scheduling support to troubleshoot and resolve class scheduling errors. Informs supervisor of irregularities and/or collaborates with supervisor to resolve complex issues. Communicates with college departments/offices, district and sharing college class scheduling offices. Uses MCCCD reporting systems to review class schedule-related information for accuracy or dissemination to various college offices/departments.

25% - Uses the Academic Curriculum Review and Evaluation System (ACRES) to research or prepare curriculum proposal form submissions and support materials/documentation. Uses the MCCCD Guided Pathway Administration Suite software to stage sequence pathways for web production. Uses District Curriculum Repository (DCR) to add/update and monitor curriculum proposal submissions. Assists with academic catalog production. Uses the 25Live Academic and Event Scheduling System to confirm classroom availability for instructional events. Support supervisor and Curriculum Development Facilitator (CDF) with college curriculum committee meeting planning/logistics, requests for curriculum-related information. Adheres to MCCCD curriculum policies and college practices. Communicates with college departments/offices, district and sharing college curriculum offices. Uses MCCCD reporting systems to review curriculum-related information for accuracy or dissemination to various college offices/departments.

10% - Participates in class scheduling or curriculum-related meetings, training opportunities, professional development, etc.; ensures compliance with college and district class scheduling and curriculum policies and practices. May provide lead support to temporary staff.

5% - Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related program area, and one year of program coordination experience.

OR

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications
  1. Two or more years' experience using class scheduling software such as Student Information System (SIS) or similar electronic systems to process class creation/modification/cancellations, combining multiple classes, and assigning instructors
  1. Two or more years' experience using curriculum software such as the Academic Curriculum Review and Evaluation System (ACRES) or similar electronic systems to process/review curriculum proposals
  1. Two or more years' experience using electronic reporting system to create, read, and analyze data in report format
  1. Demonstrated proficiency with several examples using sharing software, i.e., Google Suite, Microsoft, etc. to create and or develop correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations
  1. Two or more years' experience handling multiple projects and deadlines or coordinating complex activities with multiple interruptions and organizing/maintaining detailed accurate files and records
  1. Two or more years' experience working independently and in a team environment in a community college setting working with faculty and or college administration
