  • Working with the Sector Directors, CDL's and local leadership to drive the growth of new business through new client relationships, while also continuing to focus on growing our scope of service offering to existing clients.
  • Developing strategies, capture plans and initiating/building relationships with key clients.
  • Support the development of qualifications packages and proposal submittals.
  • Collaborating with Operations leadership to lead pursuit go/no go and strategy discussions.
  • Possessing and maintaining knowledge of client technical needs and plans, tracking current and trending business environment, and maintaining awareness of client assessment of HDR in order to anticipate, track and capture contract assignments.
  • Working in partnership with others (including other Sectors and BG's) to drive new business prospects and existing client opportunities.
  • Engineering Principals are expected to help develop scope, schedule, and fee for projects. They must communicate regarding the pursuits they are leading with operational leadership to address staffing, expertise requirements, and business needs.
  • Participating in HDR's Annual Strategy/Planning activities - and leading the efforts to develop strategies for the Industrial and Tech Sector.
  • Monitor and track projects for successful execution inclusive of commercial, technical and financial aspects.

All of HDR's services are to be leveraged in this combination of a technical and business development role with a focus on: semiconductor, microelectronics, advanced manufacturing, facility support buildings, civil utilities and site infrastructure, corporate campuses, site selection, and energy facilities.
