Helpdesk Technician Intern

Software AG is looking for a Helpdesk Technician Intern who will assist and learn the day-to-day IT support for employees who work on-site and in remote offices. You will gain hands-on experience with installs, configure and troubleshooting desktop systems, work stations, servers and network issues.


  • Daily maintenance of corporate laptops and desktops
    • Build laptps and configure software
  • Provide technical and organizational guidance to members on the Helpdesk Support Team
  • Provide secondary level assistance to help desk related questions
  • Update weekly Excel reports
  • Maintain the user's system environment by working through related helpdesk tickets
    • Learn ur "OTRS" ticketing system
  • Maintain the standard user images and deploying new machines to the user community
    • Install Windws and encrypt laptops
  • Daily operational duties assigned as needed


  • AS/BS Degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Knowledge of Windows 7/10, Apple OS is a plus
  • Knowledge of helpdesk operations, task-related skills and knowledge of operating systems is a plus
  • Microsoft Office 2010 experience
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage complexities and competing priorities
  • Ability to combine judgment, experience, analytic skills and business knowledge to make sound decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
