Interns learn about Gilbane's support or operations teams in a variety of specialties including accounting, marketing, human resources, estimating, scheduling and other essential duties.
One role will be within our Human Resouce Department and supporting our team with general office support in addition to supporting the following Initiatives:
- Audit and update Self Service (our HRIS digital record program) as needed.
- Investigate and analyze the status/effectiveness of our Individual Development Plan program (IDP).
- Develop and execute a process to engage employees to update their emergency contact info.
- Review, audit, and document historical personnel files.
- Conduct a job description inventory, outline gaps with an action plan to address.
- Conduct a competency inventory, outline gaps with an action plan to address.
- Develop and deploy communications plans to encourage employee action in our HRIS, Self Service portal.
