Designer Intern (WD30071645133)

What you will do
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Green Bay, WI. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

How you will do it:
This intern will focus on proper project turnover and have it executed in proper sequence (hand off from sales/hand off from design/PM/tech) while ensuring each process is followed properly and helping to rectify errors when they arise.



This includes but not limited to:
  • Help schedule projects (call EC/customer for project time lines & help put tech in place in calendar)
  • Ship/track/receive parts
  • Labor plan based of tech calendar
  • Do follow up calls/emails on recently completed projects to see customer satisfaction
  • Fill in notes on WIP/invoice out projects
  • Review specs/scope to look for change orders

Qualifications
What we look for
Required Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled as a student at a technical level college/program
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills required
