WHAT YOU WILL DO - Design, implement, test, and document algorithms for iRobot line of robots in C/C++ - Participate in the creation of the next generation of consumer robotics products developed at iRobot - Create and update desktop tools in Python and C++ TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL HAVE - Experience in SLAM, estimation and sensor fusion - Currently pursuing a degree a Bachelors degree Computer Science,Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related fields - Working knowledge of C/C++/Python - Solid understanding and experience in design patterns, data structures and advanced programming techniques - Passion for robotics and experience building or programming robots professionally or as a hobby - Working understanding of computer systems including concurrent programming and operating systems - Working experience in Linux - Strong problem solving and analytical skills IN RETURN YOU CAN EXPECT - To work on exciting problems in the field of mobile robotics with a large installed base of consumer robots - Work with leading scientists in the field of mobile robotics
