Arup is looking for a Knowledge Management and Content Marketing intern. Working within the Marketing and Communications team, you will have the opportunity to help shape key initiatives from the ground up, taking ownership of projects and interacting with local, regional, and global staff members across all levels. The Insights team is a small, cross-disciplinary group of marketing and communications professionals working to bring targeted skills and out-of-the-box thinking to create efficiency and innovation. **RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS SPECIFIC ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:** - General support for the day-to-day work of the regional Knowledge Manager for winning work, including research, internal interviews and knowledge capture, data capture and organization, development of presentations and training material, and the development and maintenance of tools and systems - Develop and deliver knowledge related activities, aiming to support the adoption of better behaviors - Collaboration with external teams to understand their knowledge needs and provide guidance around best practices - Collaboration with digital marketing/systems intern and with the Content Marketing Specialist in support of target projects and initiatives - Participate in knowledge management and content marketing strategizing and planning - Collaborate in crafting and disseminating people and project stories - Partner with the Knowledge Manager in delivering and refining various training programs - Effectively engage and support knowledge harvesting and sharing, raising awareness of knowledge management throughout the team and other disciplines - General support for the rest of the Insights team on a variety of projects spanning knowledge management, content marketing, thought leadership, and storytelling **REQUIRED** - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher) - Good verbal and written communication skills - Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work within a team and with staff at all levels - Proactive and curious, problem-solving attitude. Ready to think outside the box and work independently to deliver on tasks that have been designed by the team. - Someone who likes to think about the why before the how, who gets just as excited about thinking about the process and the solution. - Experience with and an understanding of the core principles of content marketing and research - Must not require sponsorship, now or in the future to be considered for this role **PREFERRED** - Experience with some number of the following computer applications: Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint platforms, Marketo, CRM - Experience with or interest in storytelling skills and practices and thought leadership - Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple deadlines with great attention to detail - Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of new tasks on a project by project basis, learning with a newly developing team with diverse skillsets **NOTABLE PROJECTS** For over seven decades Arup has been at the forefront of the most ambitious and innovative design and engineering.
