Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Supply Chain Operations is looking for a team member that is customer obsessed and can think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment. This individual will articulate inputs, options and contingency plans to achieve success in fulfilling global AWS Infrastructure Capacity. They will own end-to-end Infrastructure Capacity fulfillment and work cross functionally to resolve issues that impact AWS Infrastructure Capacity. Additionally, they will identify process gaps, fix data integrity errors, drive continuous improvements, and reduce waste associated with AWS Infrastructure Capacity fulfillment and delivery processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Work cross functionally to identify, prioritize, and resolve demand and supply shortfalls
  • Identify and remove roadblocks to fulfill customer demand per Service Level Agreements
  • Operate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and the customer's Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for Infrastructure Capacity delivery
  • Prioritize competing customer requests, cross functionally align Infrastructure teams, and execute supply shortfall mitigation plans
  • Manage cross-functional activities to mitigate defects, improve critical inputs, drive data integrity, and measure process performance
  • Create new processes to drive continuous improvements in supply chain execution and reduce inefficiencies
  • Analyze large sets of data and extract useful intelligence to drive customer decision and cross functional alignment
  • Manage and report on key performance metrics and scaling of operational execution
  • Create and publish Press Release with Frequently Asked Questions (PRFAQs), one-pagers and 6-page narratives
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau
  • Experience managing large and complex projects including leading cross-functional projects
  • 5+ years of related professional experience in operations, supply chain, enterprise technology or electronics manufacturing industries
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or supply chain
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with conducting studies, projects, or surveys of supply chain operations to determine solution required
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executives and functional teams with business and financial acumen
  • 7+ years of related professional experience in supply management or manufacturing of personal computers, consumer electronics, electronic components, original design manufacturers (ODM) or enterprise IT products
  • Advanced degree in engineering, operations, business administration or other quantitative disciplines
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
